A WIDE range of companies were present at the annual careers fair at Warrington’s Sir Thomas Boteler CE High School.
More than 30 exhibitors were present at what has become a key event in the school’s impartial careers information, advice and guidance programme.
The event is designed to enable students to explore potential career opportunities.
A wide range of commercial sectors, including accountancy, banking, engineering, hospitality, technology, manufacturing, retail, sports and leisure were present, alongside public services, the armed forces and various training/apprenticeship providers.
There were also colleges and universities offering further and higher level educational courses.
The event was open to all students in Years 9 to 11 and was designed to assist them in deciding their future choices, whether it be selecting GCSE options in Year 9 through to Year 11 students making final decisions with regard to their post-16 progression from Sir Thomas Boteler Church of England High School.
Exhibitors were impressed with the manner in which Boteler students conducted themselves and engaged in fruitful conversations. Testimony to the success of the event is the level of return visits the guests make year on year.
A Boteler spokesperson said: “Students enthusiastically embraced the occasion and left with a sense of eager anticipation and excitement about the opportunities that lie ahead.”
