Tree blown down onto stable

HIGH winds toppled a large tree at Warrington last night – causing it to fall onto a nearby stable.
Firefighters were called to the scene at a farm in Widnes Road, Cuerdley because of damage to the building.
A horse inside the stable was not injured and crews help make the building safe before leaving the scene.
One fire engine from Widnes was involved in the operation.
