THERE will be a sea of red at Orford Jubilee Park this December as children and adults alike don their Santa outfits for LiveWire’s first ever Santa Dash.
The brand new event, organised by the neighbourhood wellbeing company, takes places on Saturday 12 December at 11am.
Runners and walkers will aim to complete a one mile route around the park in their Santa costumes receiving a medal for their hard work at the end.
All ages and fitness abilities are encouraged to take part in what’s set to be a fun festive event to get Warrington residents into the Christmas spirit.
Participants will also be encouraged to raise money for a charity of their choice.
Andrea Morley, Senior Events Officer at LiveWire said: “We’re really excited about the Santa Dash. It will be great seeing adults and children in their costumes and running or walking for a good cause.
“This is also a perfect warm up for those wanting to take part in Brainwave’s 5k Santa Dash on Sunday 13 December.”

The price includes costume and medal: Adults £7, Children £5 (5 – 14 years). Under 5s £2 medal only or they can participate for free if no medal is required.
