MOTORISTS in Warrington are once again facing gridlock traffic this morning due to the weather conditions and a number of incidents on the motorway networks.
The A57 Manchester road is at near standstill with traffic conditions also heavy in the town centre and on Liverpool Road, Cromwell Avenue and Winwick Road.
Roadworks at junction 20 of the M56 at Lymm mean the M6 southbound exit slip road is closed and traffic is unable to leave the M6 and head onto the M56 in either direction.
There are severe delays and queuing traffic for an estimated 20 miles between junction 27 at Standish and Junction 20 at Lymm.
