SANTA hasn’t looked so good in Warrington for years – and it’s all thanks to Tina Turner!
The seven foot ornament was donated to Warrington Market more than 10 years ago, and had fallen in to a state of neglect.
That was until Tina, who runs a Christmas stall with husband Alan, asked Market manager Steve Pickering if she could attempt to breathe new life in to him.
Alan said: “My Wife Tina kept passing him in the basement of the market looking neglected so several months ago she got permission and set to work.
“I think the results she has achieved for someone who has no knowledge or experience in restoration are very good.
“It was the first week on our Christmas Stall and the reaction of young and all age groups is lovely to see.”
