Six injured following two car collision

SIX people were injured following a two car collision at Appleton Thorn, Warrington, last night.

Three fire crews attended the scene along with police and parademics following the collision which took place at around 7.15pm on Saturday night near the junction of Burley Lane and Arley Road.

Firefighters assisted the Ambulance Service with first aid at the scene and road closures were enforced while the injured were treated.

No one was trapped.
