Dumper truck damaged by fire

FIREFIGHTERS were called out at Warrington last night to deal with a blaze involving a large dumper truck.
The fire was in Barnard Street and two fire engines, from Warrington and Birchwood, were called to the scene.
A hosereel jet was used to tackle the flames.
In a later incident, a fire engine from Warrington was called to Cheviot Avenue, near Cotswold Road, Orford to deal with a grass fire involving about 70 square metres of land.
Hosereel jets and beaters were used to extinguish the fire.
