Wolves’ stars join in the fun at record breaking VPX

WARRINGTON Wolves’ stars Daryl Clark and Gary Wheeler joined in the fun at the annual Victoria Park Experience (VPX) at Victoria Park, Warrington, which continues to break all records.

An estimated 2,000 youngsters turned up for the second week following on from the first week’s record breaking attendance of over 1,500.

Now in its 8th year and organised by local PCSO’s Tony Spruce and Tom Reid and Paul Flannery from Livewire, the aim is to get youngsters involved in fun activities.

These include a music workshop and sweat gym challenge for adults and kids alongside football, rugby , athletics, basketball, bouncy castles, archery, rugby minis for the little ones and climbing wall and even visits from various Disney Characters and much much more.

Tony said he was “overwhelmed at the response” again this year and the positive feedback.

He added: “A huge thank you to all the providers who support us and to Cheshire Fire and Cheshire police and Livewire for making it happen and our awesome volunteers.

VPX takes place every Tuesday in August from 11-4pm and is all free.
