Firefighters tackle bonfire and woodland fire

FIREFIGHTERS were called to deal with two incidents in Warrington on Friday evening involving a small woodland fire at Westbrook and a bonfire in the garden of a property at Bewsey.

Firefighters used a hose reel jet to put out a bonfire at a house on Reid Avenue, Warrington, while in the other incident water backpacks were used to put out a small fire in woodland near the Westbrook centre.
