Car crashes into shop window

A CAR plunged off the road and crashed into a shop window at Warrington in the early hours of today.
The crash was in Padgate Lane at 3.26am – and the car ended up in the window of the Chinese Medical and Skin Centre.
Sandy Lane fireFire and rescue crews went to the scene and gas and electrical engineers were called out to isolate supplies from the damaged building.
No-one was trapped in the car and there were no reports of injuries.
In an earlier incident, last night, two fire engines went to Omega Boulevard, Warrington when a fire broke out involving a mechanical digger. A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire, which was in the seating area.
Earlier, fire crews went to Sandy Lane West, Warrington when a car caught fire.
A hose reel jet was used to put out the flames, which had caused severe damage to the vehicle.
