AN arsonist set fire to a car on a car park at Warrington today.
The blaze was on a car park off Grasmere Avenue, Orford and was well alight by the time firefigthters reached the scene.
A firefighter wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the outbreak.
Another fire was started deliberately in woodland off Wellfield Street, Bewsey.
This involved a sofa near to some bushes and firefighters used water back packs and buckets of water to put it out.
