Workers evacuated as fire breaks out

WORKERS were evacuated from a Warrington works this afternoon after fire broke out in a shredding machine.
The blaze was at premises on Lyncastle Way, Appleton and broke out at around 3pm.
All personnel were evacuated before two fire engines from Warrington reached the scene.
Crews then worked with staff removing waste from the area and also damped the area down.
There were no reports of any injuries.
