Firefighters tackled two kitchen fires

FIRE crews from Warrington were called out twice this morning to deal with kitchen fires.
The first incident was in Densham Avenue, Longford and involved a blaze in an oven.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze and used a ventilation unit to remove smoke from the premises.
The second incident involved a house in Sunningdale Close, Burtonwood where a dishwasher caught fire.
The blaze was out by the time two fire engines from Warrington reached the scene and crews removed the dishwasher from the property.
