Woman trapped in overturned car

A WOMAN was trapped in a car which overturned following a crash at Warrington last night.
Fire and rescue crews went to the scene in Alder Root Lane, Winwick where they found a car on its side with a woman trapped inside.
They used cutting gear to release the casuaty who was then handed over to paramedics and taken to hospital by ambulance.
In another incident, firefighters were called to Ashwood Avenue, Warrington where a motor cycle was found ablaze. They used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
It is believed the fire was started deliberately and anyone with information likely to help the police should call them on 101 or use the confidential Crimestoppers hot line on 0800 555 111.
