The blaze involved a car parked outside a house in Tavlin Avenue, Bewsey and is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
Fire crews from Warrington were called to the scene and quickly extinguished the outbreak, but not before a small amount of damage was caused to the outside of the house.
