Vital match for Grappers

0

GRAPPENHALL will be hoping to strike top form today when they travel to Urmston in the Vivio Cheshire County League ECB premier division.
The teams are level on points, although Grappenhall are placed one position above the home side in the league table by virtue of having one more victory under their belt.
But if they are to stay in touch with the leaders, they need a good haul of points today.
Warrington entertain Alvanley at Walton Lea, acutely aware that their current position of eighth is not good enough. The visitors are currently second in the table so will be no pushover.
In the TACS Partnership Cheshire League, Lymm Oughtrington Park entertain Barnton.
Appleton should go into their home game against Ellesmere Port full of confidence. Port are currently languishing bottom of the Cheshire Alliance first division and have yet to win a game this season.
Glazebury entertain Wilmslow hoping for a result as they are only one place higher than Ellesmere Port and desperately need points to get away from the relegation zone.
Stretton, on the other hand, are pushing for promotion and will fancy their chances against visiting Saughall.
Rylands entertain Heaton Mersey Village.
