Lymm Big Sing returns for Festival

THE Lymm “Big Sing” choir returns for an appearance at this year’s Lymm Festival on June 24.
Inspired by the Gareth Malone vision that “everyone can sing” the choir is completely open access with no auditions. The choir also gives local people the opportunity to sing and perform with top local musicians including celebrated folk singer Jon Brindley and Helen Monks.
This year the event will have a distinctly British flavour including Beatles numbers and several songs from Sting’s new hit musical play “The Last Ship”. If you would like to be involved please contact the choir secretary Tina Watmough.([email protected]) (07734 333525). Monday evening rehearsals will start at the end of April for what promises to be another memorable musical occasion.
