MOTORISTS are being warned of possible heavy traffic congestion in and around Warrington town centre due to a communications fault with some traffic signals.
Warrington Borough Council has issued the warning and says they are working with the service provider to resolve this as soon as possible.
It is likely there will be congestion around the town centre this evening at peak travel times and possibly tomorrow morning too.
The electronic message signs are being used to keep motorists updated.
