A PUBLIC footpath which links Longwood Road to Dudlow Green Road at Appleton is to be temporarily closed for essential resurfacing work.
Warrington Borough Council plans to close Footpath No 38 from February 3 for about eight weeks.
An alternative route via Dudlow Green Road, Longwood Road and vice versa will be signposted.
