Author completes Eyes trilogy

WARRINGTON author Pete Worrall today launches the final part of his Eyes Trilogy at the Daresbury Britannia Hotel, Daresbury.
Two years in the writing, “The Unforeseen Children of Olive Shipley” continues the chilling story which started in 2008 with “They Grow Upon the Eyes” and progressed to “The Doom of the Hollow.”
The idea for the story came to Pete as he was walking his dogs on Woolston Eyes, near Warrington.
He admits he has been influenced by novels such as “The Day of the Triffids” and “Invasion of the Body Snatchers.”
But the trilogy has its own theme which makes it stand apart. Pete made sure of that after completing one novel some years ago which he then scrapped after discovering someone else had thought of the plot first!
He describes his books as “epic tales of survival, medical intrigue and dormant terror.”
The launch is in the Alice Suite at the Daresbury Britannia Hotel this evening from 7.30pm.
Pete said: “It is a big thank you to all the readers who have supported me from the release of the first book in 2008, and have been waiting patiently for the story to be finished.
“Everyone is welcome to come along and find out what it’s all about.”
The Eyes Trilogy is available in paperback from www.theygrowupontheeyes.com
