A SECTION of the Sankey Canal Trail at Warrington is to be temporarily closed while essential resurfacing work is carried out.
The closure will be effective from Monday, November 25 and will last about six months.
The trail will be closed between Old Alder Lane and the borough boundary with St Helens.
Alternative routes will be signposted.
