New play area to be opened

A NEW play area for one of Warrington’s most under-privileged areas is to be officially opened on on Wednesday, November 13 at 2pm.
Cllr Pat Wright, the borough council’s lead member for health and wellbeing, will cut the ribbon at the new Dallam play area, in front of an audience of local schools and members of the community.
Also present will be Cllr Kate Hannon, lead member for leisure and culture, together with other local councillors.
The play area is for children aged 8-13 and is part of an ongoing regeneration programme of Dallam and Bewsey.
