Police probe arson attack

POLICE are investigating a suspected arson attack on a house at Warrington.
The blaze was in the front porch of a house in Secker Avenue, Wilderspool and serious damage to the property was only averted by the prompt action of fire crews who tackled it with a hose reel jet.
It was supected the fire had been started deliberately so police were called. No-one was hurt.
