APPRENTICES at a Warrington accountancy firm can now work towards the prestigious ACCA practising certificate, after it was officially recognised for its commitment to training and development.
ClearSky Accounting, which currently employs 25 apprentices, has been awarded ‘Approved Employer’ status by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Their Warrington base is on Centre Park, and they also have offices in Poole and Manchester.
Daniel Mepham, accounting and business development director at ClearSky, said: “With career development and nurturing young talent at the heart of the business, we’re delighted to have received Approved Employer status.
“The ACCA assessment process is extremely rigorous, so our success is a reflection of the hard work we have put into developing our training offering.
“This accreditation will enable us to further improve the training and development packages we offer ClearSky apprentices.”
ClearSky Accounting provides fixed-fee tax and accountancy services to small businesses, freelancers, contractors, sole traders and start-ups.
Their expanded apprenticeship scheme has seen dozens of school and college leavers land trainee roles and go on to secure permanent jobs with the company.
