Regimental Sunday

SUNDAY, October 6 will be the annual Regimental Sunday at Warrington – and also the 75th anniversary of the dedication of the 1914-18 war memorial of the South Lancashire Regiment (Prince of Wales) Volunteers.
There will be a parade, including a march-past along Church Street and a service of Remembrance and Thanks giving at St Elphin’s Parish Church.
Church Street will be closed to traffic between Manchester Road and Mersey Street between 9am and 1pm.
Regimental and civic guests from towns from which the regiment recruits will be present.
