THE annual farmer’s market at Warrington Market returns this Saturday, August 31 and will be open from 10am to 4pm.
Visitors to the town centre will be able to sample culinary delights, from more than 50 of the region’s best food and drink producers and enjoy a day of family friendly entertainment from Stockley Farm, Birds of Prey, Donkey rides and cooking demonstrations.
Market manager Steve Pickering said: “Having built a good reputation over the last six years, this event really does attract some of the region’s very best food and drink producers to our town.
“You can expect cheese, chutneys, specialist meats, gourmet pies, cakes, artisan breads and local ales to name a few.
“Warrington’s very own craft collective, ‘Created in WA’, will also host a marquee, with local traders selling quality, handmade items.
“Customers are in for a real treat.”
