Scooter found ablaze in park

POLICE are seeking witnesses after a scooter was found ablaze at Warrington.
The fire was in Peel Hall Park, off Blackbrook Avenue, Orford.
A hand-held extinguisher was used to put out the fire but the scooter was badly damaged.
It is believed the fire was started deliberately and anyone who has information about the incident, last night (Thursday) is asked to call police on 101 o Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
In a separate incident, firefighters were called to Manchester Road, Warrington to released an injured man following a collision between two saloon cars.
The casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance.
