Sub-station blaze was arson

POLICE are investigating what is believed to have been an arson attack on an electricituy sub-station at Warrington.
Fire crews called them in after dealing with the blaze at a sub-station in Thelwall Lane, Westy.
A pile of electrical cables was ablaze close to the building and firefighters extinguished it using a hose reel jet.
A representative of the electricity company was also called to the scene.
Anyone who has any information about the incident is asked to call police on 101 or the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
