WOLVES came back from 24-12 down at half-time at Castleford to run out 40-30 winners.
Tries came from Lee Briers, Garreth Carvel, Brad Dwyer, Richie Myler, two from Mick Higham and Joel Monaghan while Ratchford kicked six goals.
It was an impressive fight back by Warrington and keeps alive their League Leaders title hopes.
But it was by no means an easy victory. Although the second half belonged to Wolves, Castleford did not surrender their lead easily.
Wolves announced their come-back intentions with hree tries in six minutes early in the second half.
But the Tigers fought back to level the scores at 30-30 with only a quarter-of-an hour remaining.
But Higham’s second try and Monaghan’s effort sealed the game for Wolves.
Wolves showed their class and determination in this game for after the shock of their cup defeat against Hull FC a less spirited side could have folded when finding themselves at one stage 24-6 down in their next game.
But their 10-point victory was a just reward for their second half efforts
