Care staff fancy dress walk for charity

CARE staff from Housing 21’s branches in Warrington and St Helens will be walking more than eight miles this weekend to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The two teams, who have selected the theme of ‘heroes’ for their fancy dress, will begin the walk at the St Helens and Warrington care offices at 1.30pm.
They will walk to the Chapel House public house in Burtonwood, where they will join together for photographs at 3pm before starting on the return journeys.
Stacie Scott, Rainford CoOrdinator for Housing 21 said: “Macmillan is Housing 21’s chosen charity for this year and we thought it would be good to get involved. We decided on a sponsored walk where staff from both offices could take part and meet up in the middle. We’re all looking forward to it, particularly as we’ll be dressed up as our favourite heroes!”
