Barbecue blaze – on a plastic table

FIREFIGHTERS at Warrington were called out to deal with a blaze involving a barbecue that had been used on a plastic table.
The fire was at a house in Herald’s Green Kingswood.
Crews arrived at the scene to find a portable barbecue had been placed on a plastic table. They used a fire blanket to extinguish the flames.
In a separate incident, fire crews from Stockton Heath and Warrington dealt with a grass fire involving about 100 metres of canal bank off Station Road, Latchford. Police controlled traffic at the scene.
