Couple summonsed over dog death

A COUPLE have been reported for summons after a dog attacked and killed another dog in Warrington.
The 44-year-old man and 44-year-old woman have been reported for summons for the offence of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control in a public place – Kingsway South, Latchford.
Police said today that enquiries were continuing.
It was on Saturday that police were called to Kingsway South where it was found a dog – later identified as a Staffordshire bull terrier – had attacked and killed a Pomeranian dog.
The Staffordshire bull terrier is currently being kept in secure kennels.
