ELEVEN people were arrested in the Warrington and Halton area during a county-wide crackdown by Cheshire Police.
Nearly 30 premises across the county were raided – five of them in Warrington.
Substances believed to be cannabis amphetamines and cocaine or heroin were seized – along with £500 cash.
The raids were part of a day of action, codenamed Operation ImpACT.
Properties raided in Warrington were in the town centre, Great Sankey and Risley.
DCI Paul Beauchamp said the raid in the Warrington and Halton areas were
part of ongoing enforcement activity targeting those involved a variety of crimes including the supply of controlled drugs.
He said: “We are committed to tackling criminal activity including drug misuse and bringing criminals who intimidate and prey on some of our most vulnerable people, to justice.”
He said anyone who knew someone involved in supplying drugs or who appeared to be living beyond their means, should contact Cheshire Police.
“Everyone is entitled to go about their daily lives free from the fear which drug supply and associated anti-social behaviour can cause. To be effective in the fight against drugs, or any criminality we need information from local people about what is happening in their community.”
Police can be contacted by calling 101.
