Road improvement works in Croft

MOTORISTS, residents and businesses are advised that major roadworks to resurface large sections of Heath Lane and Kenyon Lane in Croft, are due to start on 8 July and will take up to four weeks to complete.
Daily road closures between 9:15am and 3:15pm, Monday to Friday, will be used to allow resurfacing of the roads.
While in the area, the contractors will resurface the junction of Sandy Brow Lane where it meets Winwick Lane.
Alternative Routes:
Heath Lane – Kenyon Lane, Wilton Lane, Brosely
Lane, Hob Hey Lane, Wigshaw Lane and Mustard Lane
Kenyon Lane – Wilton Lane, Brosely Lane, Hob Hey
Lane, Wigshaw Lane, Mustard Lane and Heath Lane
Sandy Brow Lane – Winwick Lane, Newton Road and
Kenyon Lane
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times during progress of the works.
Vehicle access will be under the control of the contractor as directed on site.
Cones, barriers and signs are there for a reason – to protect our workers from danger and to keep the public safe. We urge drivers to pay close attention to safety when driving near roadworks.
The council apologises for any inconvenience while undertaking essential maintenance of roads in this area.
