LEADING marksman Ciaran Kilheeney and Player of the Year Jay McCarten have both pledged their futures to Warrington Town after signing contracts at the club.
Kilheeney (pictured top) soon became a fans favourite after joining the club mid season from Chorley and finished the season as top scorer, while McCarten (right) was a near permanent fixture at the heart of defence.
They join David Mannix and new signing Ben Wharton as contracted players at the club.
Manager Shaun Reid said: “Both players were amongst our most consistent performers last season and I am delighted they have pledged their futures to the club.”
The signings come as Warrington Town’s players report back for pre-season training this week with their first friendly, a tough test against Evo-Stik Premier outfit AFC Fylde on Saturday July 20, kick off 3pm.
