Warrington teenagers meet The Wanted

FOUR Warrington music-lovers recently sampled the taste of the pop-star lifestyle at the Cheshire music festival “Chester Rocks”.
Warrington teenager, Laura Pavia, 17, won the dream prize of tickets for her and three friends to the Saturday show and backstage passes to meet pop sensation The Wanted.
Laura chose three lucky friends Mary O’Brien, Jess Brookshaw and Rebecca Hewson, all 17, hung out with global pop stars The Wanted courtesy of Golden Square shopping centre in Warrington
Laura said: “It was the best day ever! I was so nervous and scared but at the same time I was really excited. After the meet and greet I couldn’t stop crying because I was really happy.”
Golden Square offered the prize through their sponsorship of the Chester festival, which is now in its third year.
Centre manager Ian Cox, said: “We love being a part of the wider Cheshire community and ‘Chester Rocks’ was a great opportunity to be part of a huge event. It was fantastic to be able to award one of our shoppers with the chance to meet The Wanted, the winners were very excited on the day!”
