Have a say on social care

0

THE adult social care team at Warrington Borough Council want local people to help shape the way they report to residents on what they do.
Each year, councils nationwide publish a “local account” to communicate with people about the quality of services in their area and any progress the council has made towards achieving their priorities.
The Local Account for Warrington is called “Your care and support in Warrington” and has been produced by the adult social care department
For the last two years.
Cllr Pat Wright, the council’s executive member for health, wellbeing and adult services, said: “We are keen to encourage more people to contribute as residents’ views are always welcome. The document outlines our achievements and also outlines the challenges we face and it wouldn’t be possible to put it together without the views of local people.”
Anyone who like to get involved and help shape the next “Your care and support in Warrington” should visit www.warrington.gov.uk/localaccount to read last year’s edition and complete a questionnaire.
