Blaze woman taken to hospital

A WOMAN was taken to hospital suffering from the effects of smoke after a house fire at Warrington.
The blaze involved the kitchen of a house in Knutsford Road, Grappenhall and was well developed by the time fire crews from Warrington and Stockton
Heath reached the scene.
After checking there was no-one trapped inside the house, crews tackled the blaze with hose reel jets. Later they cleared smoke from the property using a specialist
ventilation unit.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
