Kim sings for Millie

WARRINGTON singer songwriter Kim Jennett has joined up with North West based charity Millie’s Trust to record her version of the Bill Wither classic “Aint no sunshine” which is set to be released on July 5.
The charity was set up last year by Dan and Joanne Thompson who lost their nine-month-old daughter Millie in a choking incident at nursery. The trust has been set up to provide paediatric first aid training to parents who couldn’t afford or otherwise wouldn’t know where to find it. The courses are run up and down the country free for women who are pregnant and parents with a child under 12 months old.
They also offer highly subsidised rates for anyone else who wants to take part in one of the courses.
On July 5 there will be a charity event at Walton Hall, Warrington to support the release of the charity single and also this event will be a fundraiser for the charity to help them to continue the work that they are currently doing.
During the night there will be live performances from bands and artists and Kim Jennett will be performing – including a performance of the charity single.
Kim’s version of “Aint no sunshine” will be uploaded to Itunes and other online outlets on July 5 and will be available to download for £1 per download in aid of Millie’s Trust.
