Birthday bash for Culture Warrington

MORE than 100 people helped to mark the first birthday of charitable arts trust Culture Warrington at the Pyramid.
The occasion was marked with a birthday party for all the family with plenty of activities on offer including cupcake decoration, Egyptian mask making and banner and pupping making. Guests had the chance to sign Culture Warrington’s birthday card and sample traditional cream tea.
Culture Warrington comprises of the Pyramid and Parr Hall, as well as Warrington Museum and Art Gallery, as well as providing events and targeted projects across the town.
Highlights during the charitable trust’s first year include The Stone Roses performing their first gig in 16 years at Parr Hall, Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival, Pyramid’s 10th Birthday and Parr Hall being nominated for ‘Best Live Music Venue’ at the Music Week Awards in London.
