CHESHIRE’S Police and Crime Commissioner is inviting people in Warrington to discuss policing issues with him face-to-face.
The Commissioner, John Dwyer (pictured), will be available at two “surgeries” in Padgate on Tuesday June 4 and in Stretton on Tuesday June 25.
He said: “A crucial part of my role as Commissioner is to be accessible; to gather people’s opinions and concerns and to hold the Chief Constable to account on their behalf.
“Since being elected I’ve learned a great deal from the people of Cheshire regarding their views on policing, and I have produced my Police and Crime Plan based on what they have said.
“Surgeries provide a more confidential setting. If there is an important policing issue which you are concerned about, please make an appointment and use this opportunity to discuss it with me.”
The surgery at Padgate will be in the library from 10am-12noon while the Stretton event will be at the Green Pavilion in Beamish Close from 2-4pm
People are asked to make appointments by either calling 01606 364000 or online at www.cheshire-pcc.gov.uk
