Orford Hub celebrates first birthday

THE Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub celebrates its first birthday this weekend.
It’s been 12 months since Her Majesty the Queen visited the town to open the largest Olympic legacy facility outside of London.
The event, which runs from 10am to 4pm, includes a squash tournament, football tournament, fairground rides and fitness class demonstrations held throughout the day.
For those who aren’t so keen on all the sporting activity, LiveWire libraries have a “read to relax” session, story time session and a book folding activity to keep you busy, and you can also browse through the various local stalls based in the reception area.
LiveWire will be charging 1p per person per activity throughout the course of the day at all six leisure and 11 library sites. A limited number of goody bags will also be handed out on a first come first serve basis.
