Fire started by barbecue

A BARBECUE started a fire which caused severe damage to a wooden outbuilding at Warrington.
The blaze was at a house on Warrington Road, Higher Walton.
Two fire engines from Warrington were called to the scene and crews found an out-of-control barbecue had caused fire to spread to the outbuilding.
Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.
