Queens' six years in the waiting!

TWO youngsters are celebrating after being selected as Queens for this year’s Lymm May Queen Festival.
May Queen elect is Eve Shaw aged, 11 from Ravenbank Primary School. Her hobbies include playing the violin, netball, singing and tap dancing.
Rose Queen elect is Ellie Caple, aged 10, a pupil at Statham Community Primary School . Her hobbies include roller skating, football, horseriding and art.
Both girls have taken part in the May Queen retinue for over six years and are delighted to have been selected as this year’s Queens!
Lymm May Queen takes place on Saturday June 8 this year with the parade commencing at 1.30pm from Eagle Brow.
This year there is no theme to the procession and local community groups are urged to enter floats.
Organisers are urging local businesses and individuals to get involved and help support the event.
