Phoebe wins national audition

WARRINGTON schoolgirl Phoebe Williams has won through national auditions to been chosen to be part of a new musical with Youth Music Theatre UK (YMT).
Phoebe, (pictured right) a Year 10 student at Great Sankey High School, will join the national theatre company for young people in its summer show.
In February she auditioned at the Lowry Theatre for a place in the group. More than 1,200 young people auditioned nationwide, and Phoebe was one of just 36 girls to be selected.
She will be part of the cast for the new musical OMG: Ovid unplugged, to be performed in Halifax in August.
Her mum Tracey Williams said: “She loves performing and is a member of CODYs youth theatre group, and was recently in Miss Saigon at the Brindley Theatre. She is very excited about being selected by the YMT and can’t wait to be part of a whole new show.”
Phoebe is studying GCSE music and drama and attends Elliot Clarke Theatre School in Liverpool where she studies ballet and jazz.
