Police hunt arsonists

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two fires were started deliberately in Warrington last night.
The first was just after 7.30pm at Bridgewater Avenue. The fire involved an area of about 10 meters by 10 meters of grass and crews used beaters to put it out.
The second fire was just before 10pm at Grasmere Avenue, and was attended by a fire engine from Stockton Heath and one from Warrington.
A pile of rubbish was set on fire and crews used a hose reel jet to put it out.
It is believed that both fires may have been started deliberately.
Anyone with information that may help identify those responsible is asked to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
