Benefits advice with free breakfast

AN information event offering advice on the new welfare reforms, which includes a free breakfast, is being held in Warrington tomorrow (Wednesday).
The event, from 10am to 1pm, will be at Fearnhead Community Centre. There will be free breakfast available and a goody bag for those who visit.
Warrington Borough Council’s income and assessment team, Warrington Collegiate and Golden Gates Housing Trust, are amongst those who will advise on topics including benefits, finding employment and using IT.
Support is also available at the Longford Neighbourhood Services Centre and the Fairfield Community Hub with IT, work readiness and support to access and complete online forms for universal credit. Contact the centre on 01925 414 631 for more details.

  1. Who is paying for this free breakfast? Is it only those who received benefits entitled to this? Waste of money or is it a ploy to get these people out of bed. We are too much of a nanny state!
