TWO Warrington councillors are urging residents to get behind Red Nose Day today.
Billy Lines-Rowlands and Chris Vobe are actively supporting Comic Relief’s fundraising drive.
They say Red Nose Day provides a great opportunity for Warrington people to “do something funny for money” while helping to transform the lives of countless people.
Cllr Lines-Rowlands said: “We’re urging all residents across the town to really get behind this year’s Red Nose Day appeal. Comic Relief have a host of tools and resources online to help you do something ‘funny for money’, with ideas ranging from quick and easy ideas for your lunch break, to something big, to Red Nose Day classics.”
Cllr Vobe added: “Whether you’re able to sponsor a family member or a friend, or simply make a donation, by supporting Comic Relief you really are doing something very special.
“Whatever you give will make a real difference to people who are living unimaginably tough lives. We hope many residents will get behind Comic Relief in whatever way they can!”
