CHESHIRE’S Police and Crime Commissioner is offering a chance to find out more about his role.
John Dwyer is running a competition with a prize of spending a day in his office.
All entrants have to do is say in 25 words or less why they want to spend a day with the Commissioner.
Until March 29, an application form will be available on the Police and Crime Commissioner’s website (www.cheshire-pcc.gov.uk/).
Applicants will also be asked to sign up to the PCC newsletter so they can be kept up-to-date with what Mr Dwyer is doing.
He said: “When I talk to people about my role, they ask me what I do or what it’s all about. I want to give someone the chance to find out.
“The winner will spend a day with me at my office on Wednesday April 24 and will witness a formal decision meeting and join me at a community meeting with residents. I will also give them a tour of the Police Headquarters so they can see how calls from the public get answered.”
