HS2 on the agenda

HS2, the controversial high speed railway linking London with the North, will be on the agenda for the Spring meeting of Warrington Nature Conservation Forum today.
The meeting will be at the Risley Moss Rangers Cabin at 10.30am.
There is a packed agenda, and other items include the Mersey Gateway, Warrington Means Business plans and Phase 2 of the Warrington flood defence project, with particular reference to trees along the River Mersey at Howley Embankment.
Guest speaker for the second half of the meeting will be clare Oliver, from the Mersey Forest.
